8/16/2023 0 Comments Wakeonlan pm suspend![]() Suspend seems to be really unstable, so using that is not likely to be a good answer for me. I can confirm that WoL does indeed work sometimes if I suspend ( pm-suspend), but does not if I use ( halt -p or shutdown -h now). I am not sure what the next steps should be to try to resolve the problem. I am using wolcmd (from a mac), to send the magic packet, to the MAC address, IP address, and subnet specified in ifconfig eth0 (to port 9). Its unfortunate that you wont be able to recover the 15 spent, but hopefully the new Intel driver will be released soon and help resolve any issues youre experiencing. Sometimes it worked on my T21, but after changing the harddisk Wake On LAN didn't work any more. 03-29-2023 09:41 PM 408 Views Hello DoctorDan, I understand that youve already made the decision to disable/replace the NIC and dont plan to revert back. If I use ethtool, I can see the following, which I believe means it is configured as expected. Enable Wake On LAN in the BIOS edit /etc/default/acpi-support edit /etc/pm/config.d/00sleepmodule enable in /proc/acpi/wakeup the devices Wake On LAN from suspend This was the hardest step to get this activated. When I reboot, I run sudo ethtool eno1 and 'Wake-on:' always gets reverted.
